Urshael

The cousins, or some say brothers, to the Sydhi, the urshael have lived on Alsa Eru for just as long as their immortal brethren, but until recently, had been mostly absent from the events of the last few thousand years. After the end of the terrible White Wars, some urshael seem to have come to terms with their place in the world, and a small colony of them now live with some sydhi, rebuilding the ruins of Inweasua. Very few humans trust the urshael, which seems fine with them, as the immortals rarely come down any further into human lands than is necessary. They are considered to be as cold as the ice they live on, and even the name given to them by the sydhi, Ishuri, means simply, "Frozen Brothers."

Physicality

Though closely related to the sydhi, the urshael have have only a few common physical features. This is thought to be their adapting to the frozen wastelands they live in, and also rumored to be part of some sort of self-imposed magical evolution to differentiate themselves from their southern kin.

Urshael are thin people, with narrow heads, waists, and torsos. Their arms and legs seem disproportionately long due to their fingers and toes having one more digit than humans.' They are taller than humans and sydhi, with average males growing to well over six feet tall. This gives them a frail look, since they seem to be extremely thin, but these looks are very deceiving. Their hair is always stark white, and their eyes, while similarly almond-shaped like the sydhi, are always ice blue.
