Belkar: We have a goal?
Roy: Sure, why do you think we're here?
Belkar: Well, I just figured we'd wander around, kill some sentient creatures because they had green skin and fangs and we don't, and then take their stuff.

Fine.
I'll go grab some Fragrant Oils, Blessed candles and Asslewood embers.

Because this will mean yet another Thread Necromancy.

(Is there some gaming situation analogous to this?  A body of a valiant warrior left behind, found by newcomers to the caravan route, maybe?
"He looks like he was pretty cool...Shall we Raise Him?"
"Cool..Yeah!"
A voice from the front of the caravan, imperious yet whining....,"Well, guys, that guy's been Raised, like, five times, and he keeps getting killed every time we bring him back...He's not what I'd call hardy.")

Cebegia is always waiting for someone to work on it.

Sorry I haven't responded sooner. I just worked 32 hours with only 4 hours of sleep. Not much time to get to the computer.

If people are still interested in Cebegia, I can schedule some time to go through things once again. I stopped when interest dropped.

People said they were interested in the community setting. I'm trying to revive it and I have a little help from LordVeeg and Snargash. Where are the rest of you bums? What do I have to do to get people to discuss the community setting?

Maybe a paragraph in News mentioning some of the more intriguing/unusual ideas being brought up and linking to the threads containing them. "<Saintanists> accuse <Bardic College of training terrorists,> claim links to <Palace-tinman Literary Organ-donors>." I've been basically throwing my 2 cents into whatever thread topics pique my curiosity; it's probably obvious by now that I don't have a handle on the overall scope of the setting's development so far. Then again, maybe not. As an army veteran I'm both highly trained and very experienced in operating effectively in complete ignorance of the big picture and what's really going on. . .

That's a good idea, Snargash - Poseidon, if you get me a good write up, (1 or 2 paragraphs, with links), I'll put it in the Roundup I'm planning on doing this Tuesday.

Nothing really constructive to add to this thread yet, but...

...Asslewood...

I'm not sure I'm really familiar with this kind of wood. Is it hard to split?

[blockquote=S&M]Then again, maybe not. As an army veteran I'm both highly trained and very experienced in operating effectively in complete ignorance of the big picture and what's really going on. [/blockquote]A tremendously self aware statement.  How rare.

Asslewood is a Celtrician Wood derived directly from the House of Earth.  Stronger than any native wood, and attuned strongly to magic from the House of Earth, asslewood is incredibly rare and valuable.  There are s till a few groves in Celtrician, but all are hidden.  Since you asked. laugh

I will, as always, try to be helpful here.  Things are insane, but I am sure everyone has time issues, so I will just do my best.

So it is hard to split. How amusingly ironic.
