The first time I can devote my full attention to SIG in a month, and Vreeg has to go off and be "responsible".
Jeez.

Damn it.
I really needed that distraction, as well.
I even spent time updating social tracks for the group, Moss, Astell, Victor, and Plaes with some of their social groups. Moss has a few good rolls and is gaining a reputation as a straight shooter with the local law enforcement. Chorbit has noted that this new guy PLaes/Gimp is possible going to be a good treasure producer, etc, etc.
Of course...there is still a headless semi-animate corpse looking for Victor.

session 107 was a regroup, still in Steel Isle town. Social skills were used (with Victor scoring good loyalty from Yeomic, his tiny gnome/hobyt crossbreed neophyte priestess of the Platform of Trade.
group spent money and time learning skills (it would have been a good session to watch on the mechanics side if anyone wanted to see the mechanics we have for learning new skills in a skill based system), though Squire Astell needs to spend his loot (he has over 1100 gold horn to work with.
At the end , we rolled quickly for the other new followers attracted by your strange message...and Astell has a new squire, a huge 8' tall ograk with a 21health who weighs almost 1000 lbs.

I thought he weighed more than double that...and was 7 years old?
Sorry that I was quite tired. I didn't sleep much and didn't have any cold energy drinks.
What are these study kits?

Ograk are fully mature by 11, but he's still young and only has 7 years of maturity.
the study kits are the skill kits you were using.

What's the difference between the study and the teaching kits, then? That's what I'm confused about. There was a major price difference, too.

Question: Does this game allow walk-ins, and what happens if a player misses a session?

Xathan Back Again
Question: Does this game allow walk-ins, and what happens if a player misses a session?
I was more or less a walk in at first. Sometimes it's more like, "what happens if a player makes a session?" Characters fade to the background an you get no XP for what you missed. Also, if the group does something as supremely stupid as try to talk to a dragon, your character may die. As Nomadic about that one...

we encourage walk-ins.
We try to make it as casual as possible\ though there are some xp penalties that show up quick.

Study kits add experience to a skill, teaching kits give a character that skill.
