Are we to be G, PG, or PG13 around these parts? I know we've had a few "words" dropped here and there, especially on the macros off. Just wondering.
By the way, good CoC. Shouldn't be a problem for the regulars I think.

PG13. The occasional swearing isn't a huge deal, but when every other word is "fuck" or somesuch, it becomes a problem.

Elven Doritos
The Opal Council operates outside of conventional alignment.
We are discreet with oaths.

It's watching you.
Not unlike the Lady of Pain, the Opal Council is difficult to stat. (And I guess that being banned from the forums is not unlike the intarweb equivalent of being Mazed? Better watch my step!)
I heartily support this idea of gentlemanly conduct. While I think it never hurts to state such guidelines explicitly, I doubt that doing so will change very much-- this is really sort of a delineation of what we've been doing anyway.

For those of us not in the States (or wherever else this applies), what exactly does PG13 imply? I mean, I think I get the basic gist, but if you'd said G or PG it would have meant just as much to me.

PG is "some material may be inappropriate for children"
PG13 is "some material may be inappropriate for children under 13"

I, Ninja D!, usually being of some mind and of sore body do hereby formally accept and agree to abide by (to the extent that it does not violate my own person beliefs) the CoC of the CBG for now and until I have reason to not do so (and as such reason is likely to lead to open rebellion, until the end of the existence of the CBG.)
Now that that's done...PG 13, eh? I'd bet our views of what is appropriate for a 13 year old differ.

Canadian PG-13? American PG-13? Dutch PG-13? German PG-13? Japanese PG-13? There's a difference aside from country of origin?

I don't know about regional differences. What I do know is at times self-proclaimed liberals wonder what the hell I'm thinking. :-p
