Welcome to the Campaign Builders' Guild.

The core purpose of the guild and its membership is to offer a free and friendly community where anyone can take part in the discussion, review, and creation of homebrewed roleplay worlds and the campaigns that take place within them. We offer a welcoming atmosphere where constructive criticism and open feedback is encouraged in the hope that we might inspire each other to become better and more creative world builders. The roleplay gaming market has been flooded over time with numerous settings of all manner of theme and quality. There are times where such pre-designed games are ideal for you and your friends. We're here for all the other times. Creating a new world to call your own can be exciting, but it can also be daunting. The Campaign Builders' Guild is here to help. The membership is full of experienced roleplay gamers eager to guide you towards the goal of a polished campaign world that your players will look forward to taking part in. So what are you waiting for? There's an entire group of people waiting to meet you, all you have to do is take the plunge.

Last 20 Shouts:

So I bought ARMS. Anyone curious about it, it's a great game to have with friends. Online play is pretty fun too, but the Single Player is a little dull.

Everytime I watch Castle in the Sky (Studio Ghibli) the intro credits alone make me want to build a Steampunk/Fantasy Sky World Setting.

Don't be silly Rhamnousia, you're post apocalypse is interesting and actually has character.
There's a future "Tumblr" wants, I've posted it, and it's a blasted and atomized gigafascist wasteland.
Thankfully, I doubt Tumblr has that kind of international klout

Actually that video is pretty dead on. Really if tumblr get's its way, will be living in Shadowrun soon enough.

On a more serious note, I hope it turns out well, but I've got a bad feeling...
On a more serious note - the upcoming Blade Runner 2049 might be a good example of "retrofuturist cyberpunk."
Does this answer your question LoA?

If cyberpunk is about our future, and Retrofuturism is about what people in the past thought the future would be like, does that mean today's cyberpunk, becomes tomorrows retrofuturism?
I'm here for this prime owl content.
Witches are like owls: they move in darkness, gather in parliaments, and occasionally vomit small packets of undigested bone and hair.
I've settled on a cult-infested Romano-Plantagenet empire
They both sound so great Rhamnousia!

Also last night I saw someone walking around in a 'Welcome to Nightvale" shirt. I High-fived him.

Why split the difference and have them go hand in hand?
Judgement call: squamous posthuman Louis XIV or devil-worshipping Paris Commune?
I think that depends on whether or not you're interested in anything else. The label's not worth worrying about, though.

Dumb queston: Would developing an interest in Japanese horror movies make me an Otaku in the American sense of the word?
Nice reddit, Hoers.
